Day of Prayer St. Louis

A letter from Stan Bower to the businessmen in the St. Louis region

With the economy in a questionable state and life happening as it is, it does not stop. I cannot stop it. It always comes around. What are we going to do about it? What is the it in my life?

It all depends upon how you define it. According to Bill Clinton, it can have a very broad definition. According to Webster, it is defined as that one – used as subject or direct object or indirect object of a verb or object of a preposition. It can be communicated via an eyebrow lift, a scowl, a laugh, a cry, or any emotion which conveys the feeling of what it is you are talking about.

So in this letter we are discussing what it is. Remember, you must give it. I am always asking for you to give it to me. I need it for my car. I cannot live life without it. I will die if I do not get it today. I need it by tomorrow. You did not do it, so now I am in trouble with my boss. Dismiss it. Can it. Stop it. Man, can you imagine what it would be like if you and I did not have it? You lost it. You never had it.

So . . . thank you for supporting it and giving it. We would not be able to continue without it. Thank you for continuing to share it with the ministry.

It all belongs to HIM,

Stan Bower
